Simon Zarifeh

Simon has over 20 years experience working as a contract and commercial lawyer and has been involved with Commonwealth projects since 2004. Simon has worked in top tier private practice, in house and overseas. The majority of Simon's Commonwealth experience is acting as a commercial advisor.

Anna Zarifeh

Anna became a lawyer in 2002 and has worked in top tier firms in Australia and the UK. Anna has acted for the Commonwealth since 2004. She has substantial experience working on large scale Commonwealth contracts and commercial projects.

EXPERIENCE

Anna and Simon both started life as lawyers, however they both have extensive experience in providing commercial, negotation, and procurement services to the Commonwealth.

Airservices Australia OneSky: Air traffic management futures systems project – joint request for information with the Department of Defence

Australian Federal Police – Investigations, Incident and Intelligence Management Project – supported the negotiation of the AFP’s new crime fighting software @$145m

Airservices Australia – Air Traffic Control Tower Technology Project: replacement by Airservices of its integrated tower automation software @ $19m

Department of Defence – Collins Class Submarines: supported the re-negotiation of the through life support contract

EXPERIENCE

Anna and Simon, the founders of Shrewd, both started life as lawyers, but have morphed into providing commercial support. We have experience in providing commercial, negotation, and procurement services to the Commonwealth. Uniquely we also have experience working for a large US vendor.
